Livelihood

Women and drop out children are the focused target group. Kripa promotes sustainable livelihood and enhances their well being by training the women and dropout youth on their interested vocational trades. Dropout youth is given training on the concepts of entrepreneurship and life skills. It encompasses people’s capabilities, assets, income and activities required to secure the necessities of life. Skill training gives technical skills along with opportunities, empower one as an individual, and help them to understand how to run a firm, build confidence, communication and time management skills in the candidate. Thousands of dropout youth and women have been assisted to get skill training. Some of them have started their own business and some others are working in other firms. Kripa has formed hundreds of women self help groups for their social, economic and political empowerment.  More than four thousand women have started their own income generation units taking loans from their own self help groups and banks.
