Where there is a will there is a way

Human beings have tremendous energy and talent but many of us are lacking opportunity to make our own talents. Normally village communities lack opportunity for study, skill development, capital, promote leadership etc. Jitendra Dilip Nagar is a best example for making use of the given opportunity to improve the quality of his life.  Jitendra Dilip Nagar is from a poor family. There are five members in his family. His father does distribution of post and he works under a contract base. Elder brother repairs computers. He has a younger brother. Jitendra Dilip Nagar has reached Ujjain for doing his studies but he could not continue his studies due to lack of money for paying the college fee. Hence he switched to daily wage. During this time he came to know about the training offered by Kripa Social Welfare Society to dropout youth in the slums and villages nearby. He approached the Vocational training coordinator of Kripa Social Welfare Society and collected needed information from him. He joined the training classes of Air conditioner/ fridge/ refrigerator. He was regular for the training. He benefited from theoretical and practical classes on EDP and life skills.

 

After completing the training on Air conditioner/ fridge/ refrigerator, he found a job in the Air condition repair shop. He remained at the shop for four months. During this period, he had further opportunity to learn more about the A/C repairing. During this he could earn Rs. 4000/- Per months. Later he moved out and started to work at his own risk in company with Mr. Devendra. Both of them have found repairing works at different places and earned money. While he was doing the air condition work there was demand from the people for repairing RO and the washing machine. Then he has determined that I must upgrade my skills to repair the RO and washing machine which will have more opportunity to earn my livelihood. Hence he learned how to repair the RO and washing machine. According to him, during the season he earns Rs. 15000-20000/- per month. This earning not only helped him to support the family but also it assisted him to continue his studies at college. Now he is doing his college studies together with his work. He has completed his B.Com and is now pursuing M.com. At present Mr. Jitendra Dilip, Mr. Ronak Verma, Harish Nagar (all did their vocational training from Kripa) and Mr. Rizwan are working together. They have taken the maintenance work Air Conditions fixed in the ATMs of Bank of India, Federal Bank, ICICI Bank, Axisis Bank Ujjain. He claimed that they are getting Rs. 250000/- – Rs. 300000/- per year from this work.
